Testing With Firefox 3.6.8
Again I am creating a link
Dear Andy Evans:
As you will discover below, the hot link editor of the CMS does not adequately function with the brand new version of Firefox for Mac.
The CMS does function for me with the older version of Firefox, you can see evidence of that by seeing the below links:
Here ~~> I am attempting to insert a link right over this text and this will not work. So please see the content of this link that was created by v3.0.1
The CMS link editor will only propagate this ~~> javascript:void(0);/*1220332840563*/
This is a Test With Firefox 3.0.1
[Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U;
Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1)
Gecko/2008070206 Firefox/3.0.1]
Hello Andy Evans
The text that is strangely (the error)
inserted by the hot link editor consistently propagates the below text instead of the text inserted in the configuration panel:
javascript:void(0);/*1220332840563*/
Please Note:
When using version 3.0.1 the link editor window shows a text box that does NOT appear when using Firefox 2.0.0.16 The text that appears with the 3.0.1 browser in the text window of the link editor is below:
http://thehartcenter.com/a/FCKeditor/editor/fckdialog.html
It may also be noteworthy that the link editor browser window (configuration panel) will not close out when clicking OK. One must cancel it to close it out.
This is the newer version of Firefox for Mac 3.0.1
being used with the CMS and I am attempting to
use the Style Function in Blue:
This works!
And now for an attempt to use the hot linking feature to link a URL which has been cut and pasted form the Firefox Browser: As you will see ~~>
The CMS Throws in this text: javascript:void(0);/*1220332840563*/
~~> instead of keeping the link text that was typed into the field
As you will see when you check what the CMS did when I attempted to cut and past the link to the man in the Maze, the CMS throws in the following text instead of taking the link that was entered in the field to make an http://www.xxxxLink
And another link simply typed into the hot link creating CMS panel
here!http://thehartcenter.com/a/FCKeditor/editor/fckdialog.html
The Above Text is consistent in the hot-link editor browser menu Bar.
